Day 36: Aquarium

We told my dad that our birthday gift to him would be an all-expenses paid trip to any activity he'd like to do with Abby.  He suggested the aquarium, which was such a great idea!  Ben and I even got a membership, because it pays for itself after just one more visit, and we'll definitely go back at least a few more times this year!

Abby LOVED looking at the penguins!  The lighting was so low in the whole aquarium, and there were no ceilings on which I could bounce my Speedlite, and it was really hard to get much in focus, so bear with me on these...

We sat Abby next to a little bronze penguin.  She first started to pet it...

Then, naturally, she tried to eat it.  (And how cute is it that she got her hand stamped???)

My dad loved carrying her around to all the tanks, pointing out all the brightly colored fish!
